Every human being should have eagerness to practice the virtues which are means to a higher form of life. However, too much eagerness for Higher Perfection may backfire on you. Hence start by practicing simple virtues
If we have a very high goal to attain we may not be able to attain that and it may discourage us. Hence start by doing simple things.
What fits you or suits to you, this you should choose.
Leave out the unwanted elements of criticism. If criticism helps you, accept it. If not close the ear to that and concentrate in practicing the virtues. For example, a man who wants to posses pearls need not to worry about shells. Don’t be over worried about what others say.
The mistakes you make should not lead you to underestimate you. Accepting yourself, with your good points and your limitations, is a crucial part of your growth.
Anger should be avoided. Avoid anger with God, with others. and with yourself. Instead of feeling anger feel compassion for others and practice practice with you.
